About

September 22, 1862, President Abraham Lincoln began the process of ending chattle slavery in America. On that day he prepared a document that would become effective on January 1, 1863 proclaiming emancipation for slaves and criminization for slave owners. January 1, 2013 is the sesquicentennial of the Emancipation Proclaimation.
As ancerstors of former slaves and slave owners we must recognize and celebration just how far we have come. Therefore we call upon our nation and global community to celebrate this milestone by furthering the quest for freedom and equality for all by supporting and giving generously to the Emancipation Fund.

To live out the faith of our country's founding fathers which believed in one nation under God.  It is that faith which challenges us to care for the less among us by establishing a new paradigm for economic
equality.

3. To establish a new national sustainable economic base in the nation by creating a National Emancipation Fund.

4. To Registry all families of the Diaspora in a national registry to re-establish geneology and strengthen family connectivity.

5. To establish viable businesses and franchises nationwide that would reinvest profits into non-profits and programs to
strengthen communities.

6. To ensure that non-profits are sustained and able to provide quality, professional and life changing services to community residents.

7. To create a replicable model for adoption by global partners.

8. Recognizing that it took an entire community including Union Soldiers, many of who lost their lives in the quest for freedom, our celebration is just as inclusive and relective of the many good people in our world who contine to fight for freedom and a fair and just society.
